A very unusual boot knife by custom maker Billy Smith of Grand Rapids, MI. Billy generally, but not always, follows the style of the famous Michigan knife maker William Scagel and his knives are hammer forged. This knife is 1080 steel. Bill does his own heat treatment and tempering. This knife comes with a leather sheath also hand made by Billy.
